Full Video
The complete walkthrough, start to finish — setup, choreography, generating and opening the finished sequence in xLights. Worth watching once if you want the whole picture; the shorter videos below cover each part on its own.
Auto Sequencer Overview
Installing the Auto Sequencer and pointing it at your existing xLights show folder and prop layout. About five minutes, and it's all you need to generate your first sequence.
Synced Lyrics Software
This video we take a look at a Free program for purchasers of the Software.
Moments & Hits
Marking the big moments in a song by ear — a solo, a key change, a drop — and choosing how every prop reacts. Covers the pattern types: explosions, waves, single strand and dance, up to twelve per song.
Colors
Choosing a palette for your sequence, how genre and style settings affect the colours picked automatically, and how to steer the result when you want something specific.
Choreography
Setting up how your props move together so the whole display reads as one show rather than separate loops. This is the part that takes about ten minutes per song and does most of the work.
Mapping
Matching the props in your xLights layout to the Auto Sequencer so it knows what it's sequencing — mega trees, matrices, arches, spinners and the rest.
Song Notes
Write your own instructions against the track by timestamp — explode here, spin there, hold this prop steady through the verse, build from 2:14. Anywhere you know exactly what you want the display to do, this is where you say so, and the engine builds around it.
Seed System
Change the look of a single prop group without touching the rest of the sequence. If the mega trees or matrix aren't quite right but everything else is, the seed regenerates just those — no starting over.
